Nominal values and instructions for measuring voltages on the control module can be found under the respective headings below.

Note the measuring conditions and use common sense when assessing the results.

The nominal values shown apply with the ignition switched ON unless otherwise stated.
|

First, check that the power supplies to the module are correct and that it is grounded properly.
|
|
| • |
Then check all the sensor inputs and signals from other systems.
|
|
| • |
Finally, check the outputs. Remember that the measured values do not tell us whether or not the module is functioning properly.
|

| • |
If a measured value is incorrect, investigate which leads, connectors or components should then be checked, using the wiring diagram.

| • |
The nominal values shown below apply when using a calibrated Fluke 88/97.
|

| • |
The values % (+) and ms (+) show the pulse ratio and pulse duration of the signal. The test instrument used must be able to measure pulse ratio and pulse width. The (+) sign denotes a positive trigger pulse, TRIG+.
