Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement

Removal Procedure


1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .

2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LDK/A20NHT) and Cooling System Draining and Filling (LBS/A20DTH) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LAU/A28NER) .

3. Remove the turbocharger coolant feed pipe. Refer to Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Replacement (LDK/A20NHT) Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Replacement (LAU/A28NER) .

Note

Do not damage the camshaft cover and the positive crankcase ventilation retainer of the turbocharger.


Remove the retainer of the positive crankcase ventilation.


• Remove the fastener (1) of the positive crankcase ventilation retainer and remove the retainer (2) out of the turbocharger (3).

• Remove the seal ring (4).

• Remove the hose/pipe/tube (5) with a screwdriver.

5. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation hose/pipe/tube (1) with a screwdriver from the camshaft cover (2).



Installation Procedure


1. Install a NEW seal ring (1) to the positive crankcase ventilation retainer (2).


2. Install the positive crankcase ventilation retainer (2) to the turbocharger (3) and tighten the fastener (4) to 10 Nm (89 lb in) .

3. Install the positive crankcase ventilation hose/pipe/tube (1) to the positive crankcase ventilation retainer (2) and the camshaft cover (3).


4. Install the turbocharger coolant feed pipe. Refer to Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Replacement (LDK/A20NHT) Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Replacement (LAU/A28NER) .

5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LDK/A20NHT) and Cooling System Draining and Filling (LBS/A20DTH) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LAU/A28NER) .
