Circuit/System Description |
This DTC indicates a critical low fuel content. The DTC is set to prevent the fuel system for an air contamination.

Circuit/System Verification |
1. |
Verify that the DTC sets outside of the Conditions for Running and Setting. Since most occurrences of this DTC are caused by low fuel content, review with the customer the conditions under which the DTC set.

2. |
If the DTC set within the Conditions for Running and Setting, the Engine is operating as designed.
|
3. |
Refill the fuel tank with diesel
|
4. |
Operate the vehicle within the conditions that the customer experienced and verify the DTC does not reset.
|
5. |
If the DTC resets, replace the K20 Engine Control Module.
