Clutch Actuator Cylinder Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement (All Wheel Drive - LDK/A20NHT) Transmission Replacement (Front Wheel Drive - LDK/A20NHT) Transmission Replacement (FWD, LBS/A20DTH) .

3. Valid only for F40: Disconnect the clutch actuator cylinder pipe from the clutch actuator cylinder. Refer to Clutch Actuator Cylinder Pipe Replacement .

Clutch Actuator Cylinder Fastener (Qty: 3)

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedures

Use the appropriate thread sealant on the fasteners. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for the appropriate sealant.

Tighten

20 Nm (15 lb ft) + 60 grader

Clutch Actuator Cylinder

Procedures

Bleed the clutch actuator cylinder after fitting the gearbox. Refer to Hydraulic Clutch System Bleeding .
