Removal Procedure |
1. |
Turn the ignition OFF.
|
2. |
Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
|
3. |
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
|
4. |
Remove the front compartment splash shield. Refer to
Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement
.
|
5. |
Remove the drive belt. Refer to
Drive Belt Replacement (LLU/A16LET)
.
|
6. |
Remove 2 fasteners of the transmission front mount. Refer to
Transmission Front Mount Replacement
.
|
7. |
Install
EN-6625
holder (1) to the engine block (2).
|
8. |
Remove the fastener (1) and the washer of the crankshaft balancer (2).
|
Installation Procedure |
1. |
Refer to
Fastener Caution
.
Install the crankshaft balancer (2) and the washer with a NEW fastener (1). |
2. |
Tighten the fastener of the crankshaft balancer in 3 passes.

First pass in sequence to
95 Nm (70 lb ft)
|
• |
Second pass to
30 degrees
|
• |
Third pass to
15 degrees
|
3. |
Remove
EN-6625
holder (1) from the engine block (2).
|
4. |
Install the 2 fasteners of the transmission front mount. Refer to
Transmission Front Mount Replacement
.
|
5. |
Install the drive belt. Refer to
Drive Belt Replacement (LLU/A16LET)
.
|
6. |
Install the front compartment splash shield. Refer to
Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement
.
|
7. |
Lower the vehicle.
|
