Brake servo unit, left-hand drive car


Removal


1. Remove the bar fixed between the spring struts.

2. Remove the air canister over the throttle body.

3. Disassemble the master cylinder.

4. Remove the vacuum hose from the brake servo.


5. Disconnect the electrical distribution box and move it out of the way to improve access.

6. Remove the brake servo retaining nuts from the bracket.

7. Remove the rubber gaiter from the bulkhead partition and pull it towards the servo container.

8. Undo the clip on the push rod and lift out the brake servo container.


Fitting



1. Position the brake servo container on the bracket and tighten the four retaining nuts.

2. Fit the clip on the pushrod and the rubber gaiter on the bulkhead partition.

3. Fit the electrical distribution box and the vacuum hose.


4. Fit the master cylinder.

5. Fit the air canister over the throttle body.

6. Fit the bar between the spring struts.

7. Bleed the brake system.
