INSTALLATION

Install the valve rocker assembly.

Temporarily tighten the bolts (a) through (d) equally in order as shown in the figure.

Note

Do not allow the valve rocker assembly to damage knock pins.


Tighten the bolts (e) through (h) to specified torque.

Tighten the bolts (a) through (d) to specified torque.

Tightening torque:

25 Nm (2.5 kgf-m, 18.1 ft-lb)


Adjust the valve clearance.

Install the rocker cover, rocker cover gasket and connect PCV hose.

Note

Use new rocker cover gasket.


Install the cam sprocket.

Install the timing belt.

Install the timing belt cover.



Install the crank pulley.

Install the V-belts.
