Nothing happens when an attempt is made to lower the soft top (nothing moves, no sound, etc.)


A. Soft top switch in centre console defective.

First bow rises a couple of centimetres and then stops.

Fifth bow latch motor jammed or defective.

Fifth bow rises completely, after which all other soft top movement ceases.


A. Windscreen member microswitch closed by locating stud.

B. Fifth bow potentiometer does not reach its upper limit

C. Soft top cover motor is disengaged.

Soft top cover gets stuck when opening. Soft top cover ’’snaps” when opening.

Latch adjustment.

Soft top cover scrapes and squeaks when opening.
